MARMOLADA

MARMOLADA is a frame that translates the landscape into form.

Among the models in the collection, it is the one that engages most directly with the Dolomite peaks, recalling their sharp profiles, vertical tensions and the luminous fractures of the rock.

Its shape develops from a reinterpreted rectangular cat-eye, with an elongated, assertive front defined by pronounced angles and taut lines that guide the eye along the entire silhouette. The geometry is not static: it tilts, opens and changes according to the viewing angle.

The front is crafted from Mazzucchelli M49 bio-acetate, with sculpted bevels along the upper section and lower corners. These primarily aesthetic details are designed to break up the volume and create an intricate interplay of light and shadow, evoking the layers and cuts of the mountain.

The temples follow a fluid, continuous line and incorporate a decorated metal core visible through the translucent acetate. On the inner side, a silver plaque bearing the LF monogram, set beneath resin, discreetly yet recognisably signs the model.

The construction is completed by five-barrel hinges and star-shaped rivets, elements that ensure strength and long-lasting durability, in keeping with an approach to design founded on construction and permanence.

MARMOLADA is produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces per model and colour, conceived as an object to be chosen consciously, not endlessly replicated.
